The Doctor of Pulpit Ministry (D.P.M.) is an advanced professional degree designed for individuals who have a calling to preach and teach the Word of God and lead congregations effectively. This program equips students with advanced theological knowledge, homiletical skills, and pastoral leadership abilities necessary for impactful pulpit ministry.

Program Objectives:

  • Advanced Biblical Exegesis: The D.P.M. program aims to deepen students’ understanding of the Bible through advanced biblical exegesis. Students will engage in rigorous study of biblical texts, exploring their historical, cultural, and literary contexts. They will develop advanced skills in interpreting and applying Scripture accurately and faithfully.
  • Homiletical Excellence: The program focuses on developing advanced preaching and communication skills. Students will study diverse homiletical approaches, rhetorical techniques, and effective sermon delivery. They will develop their ability to craft engaging and impactful sermons that connect with the hearts and minds of their listeners.
  • Theological Reflection: Students will engage in theological reflection, deepening their understanding of Christian doctrine and its practical implications for ministry.   • Pastoral Leadership: The D.P.M. program emphasizes the development of advanced pastoral leadership skills.
