The Doctor of Christian Leadership (D.C.L.) is an advanced academic degree designed for individuals who aspire to provide visionary and transformative leadership within Christian organizations and ministries. This program equips students with advanced knowledge, skills, and values necessary for effective Christian leadership in various contexts.

Program Objectives:

  • Advanced Theological Understanding: The D.C.L. program aims to provide students with advanced theological knowledge and understanding of the Christian faith. Students will engage in in-depth studies of biblical theology, systematic theology, church history, and Christian worldview, enabling them to integrate their faith into the practice of Christian leadership.
  • Leadership Theory and Practice: The program focuses on developing advanced leadership knowledge and skills within the context of Christian organizations and ministries. Students will explore leadership theories, organizational dynamics, strategic planning, change management, and ethical leadership, enabling them to lead with integrity and effectiveness.
  • Spiritual Formation and Discipleship: Students will deepen their understanding of spiritual formation and discipleship as essential components of Christian leadership. They will explore theories and practices of personal and communal spiritual growth, nurturing their own spiritual lives and equipping them to lead others in their spiritual journeys.
  • Ethical and Moral Leadership: The program emphasizes the development of ethical and moral leadership principles rooted in Christian values and biblical teachings. Students will learn to navigate complex ethical dilemmas, make principled decisions, and lead with integrity and character.
